Finally Agreement. The Wyndham councillors have finally voted to accept the Grange Management Plan. Which will now create a clear path for this clubs usage and the future development of a hiring process. Hoppers Crossing Soccer Club Committee responded to a Draft Management Plan with a future direction on how the club's will use the ground for all training and competition fixtures. In Brief 4 nights per week March through to October for an average of 20 hours allocated for training and a flexible use competition program on weekends will be planned to allow coaches proper access for all the teams within the club. A preseason of 9 weeks during January / March will also require the club to plan practice matches, carnivals or coaching courses etc. This booking system is still in development while council finalises the process. Coaches & Managers will have to accept a compromise from time to time as this ground must accommodate 15 teams. Now we have a state of the art facility the club will also better prepare itself for the season ahead. Wyndham council will from time to time hire out the ground to the community at large, planning our season will take on a priority we have never seen before so we maximise our use. Club costs will rise why? General club running cost increases. The new ground lighting power costs will have a cost impact, although this has been an ongoing arguement with council, we now have the best facility in the western suburbs, 100 + 200 lux level lighting system which is more expensive to run hense fees will rise to account for this. FFA levy & FFV increased registration fees along with affiliation costs. The Committee
