The sythetic pitch was Officially Opened on the14th of November 2009 at 10.30am.

Tim Pallas MP, Member for Tarneit representing the Hon. James Merlino MP, Minister for Sport & Recreation together with the Mayor, Cr Shane Bourke have unveiled a commemorative plaque.

The Minister praised the efforts of the club for its determination and pursuit of the artificial ground. The new surface will see the club have the use of the state of the art facility for training and competition games. Gone are the days of limited training or an unplayable surface.
