Our Seniors could only muster a draw in an even match which two goals apiece and momentum shifts throughout the night. Throughout the first half, both teams showed attacking intent creating good chances to go ahead. However, it was Craigieburn who would head into the half in the lead, converting with a near post flick from a free kick delivery.![]()

Our lads came out of the break with increased impetus, which was immediately rewarded with an exceptional half volley equaliser lashed into the top corner by Kasamu Kuradate. This lifted the intensity of the game with both teams continuing to produce chances. Another set piece by the visitors put Hoppers behind for the second time in the game, but this wouldn't be for long, as Michael Formosa hit the back of the net with a half volley of his own. Seizing this massive momentum shift, we pushed for a winner but were unable to go ahead despite creating further chances for the win.![]()

The Reserves continued their fine run of form, notching up another win to leapfrog Craigieburn on the ladder. Josh Verghese bagged a brace. The first came from an exceptional forward press to pinch the ball from the opposition defence and convert. Meanwhile, his second was a true thing of beauty, lobbing the opposition keeper from beyond halfway. Tristan Cabrera dispatched an excellent volley on his opposite foot into the net for our third. Finally, Oreno Luka beat the keeper to a through ball to round out the scoring. ![]()

Next game, we head away to play ladder leaders Balmoral FC at Balmoral Park on Saturday 25 July for a 5pm kickoff (Reserves 3pm).

An away win in tough weather conditions!![]()

Our Seniors got their second win in succession, with a strong and consistent display away against Bundoora. It was Hoppers who started the brighter, getting their just rewards when Ivan Silic lobbed the keeper from a distance somewhere between 30-90 yards (still being debated). Just after the midway point of the first half, Kasamu Kuradate remained alert to slam home a follow up effort, putting us up by two goals heading into half time. ![]()

As conditions got wetter in the second half, any significant chances for both teams dried up. The second half was marked by resolute defending and a solid work rate in midfield to see out the win with a clean sheet. ![]()

The Reserves chalked up another win, downing their opponents for the second time this season. Shane O'Loughlin with a double dose of goalscoring magic before Hasan Ali lobbed their keeper to jag the winning goal.![]()
